Kristen Masse
Hi, I’m Kristen. I’m genuinely glad you found your way here.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe to bring your full self – no masks, no filters. Life can feel messy, overwhelming, and uncertain, and it’s okay to feel stuck. I’m here to help you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more confident in your story.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in curiosity. I often draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients better understand the different “parts” within – like the perfectionist, the inner critic, or the part that shuts down to protect you. These parts often hold important insights. I also integrate narrative therapy to help shift limiting stories toward ones rooted in strength and possibility.
I work with individuals (ages 10+), families, and couples. Many clients come in with concerns around ADHD, anxiety, depression, parenting, relationship stress, and identity. I have a special passion for working with parents who feel overwhelmed or disconnected from their own needs. As a parent myself, I know how hard it can be to hold so much for others while still trying to care for yourself.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly 20 years in public education as a teacher, school counselor, and advocate for young people. That experience showed me how much our emotional lives are woven into the fabric of our daily environments, and how healing begins when all the parts of us feel truly known.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, our teenage daughter, our elderly cat, and our lovable Labrador mix. I enjoy yoga, neighborhood walks, cooking, travel, and the occasional living room dance party.
